Benefits and opportunities for students

Students at the Galilean School (Galileiani) enjoy a series of personalized services and an intellectually-stimulating environment, which can help them building a valid, young team; Galileiani are invited to share a love for research and community life.

Free of charge, single-room accommodation is provided at "Cittadella dello Studente", which is quite near to the college where students share their classes and community life: Collegio Morgagni, a 16th-century historical palace, not far from the town centre and the main university buildings. Students’ expenses for meals at University canteens are covered by the School. Furthermore, students receive a contribution for educational materials, cultural trips and study mobility periods in Italy and abroad. They are given the opportunity to follow the several conferences and events, organised by the School. Students can study at least two foreign languages, free of charge. They can interact with a team of tutors for the entire duration of the Program. Tutors are lecturers, available to mentor the students throughout their University career; they help them choosing their University and School examinations; they provide them with guidance for their additional educational activities. Together with their tutors, students work to create and enjoy a suitable environment for their personal needs and aptitudes. Opportunities to spend time abroad include the Erasmus+ programme, customised study trips, intensive language-school programs and mobility periods to the major non-European Universities.

A more exclusive student exchange has recently been developed, thanks to some new-born bilateral agreements between the Galilean School and other schools of excellence in Europe and overseas.
